Quality Standards
Quality Standards is an evidence-based program launched by Ontario Health in late 2016. Quality Standards outline for healthcare workers and patients what quality care looks like for various health care topics (ranging from mental health to opioid use). Developed in collaboration with patients and clinicians, these tools provided information on conditions where there are large variations in how care is delivered – closing the gap between the care currently provided in Ontario, and the care patients should receive.
As an in-house designer for Ontario Health from 2017-2019, I led the design and delivery of all Quality Standards materials, transforming all content into various print and digital assets. I worked closely with the Communications team to launch and promote topics every month through illustrated images for social media, email marketing, and other communication channels.
Infographics were designed for every topic, alongside accompanying social media images:

I also supported graphics for work outside the Quality Standards Portfolio. Here is a summary infographic to accompany “9 Million Prescriptions,” a report on opioid prescribing in Ontario.
